Lived Experience is Just the Beginning
Seeking a welcoming, affirming treatment professional? As a proud member of our LGBTQIA+ community, I know how important it is to find a friendly face. For decades, I’ve served in many leadership roles, advocating for our representation, rights and health. My contributions include:
Founding the groundbreaking Chicago’s LesBiGay Radio, the country’s award-winning drve-time radio program (1994-2001)
Advocacy for those living with HIV across the country in state and local government, non-profits and industry (1997-2008)
Practitioner, educator and thought leader for wellness and mental healthcare (currently)
An Expanded Perspective
I have had the honor to work with many people from every portion of our community – and each one has shared their unique wisdom with me. Humbled and inspired by their stories, I’ve gained perspective beyond my own experience as a gay man, and have learned much more about what it means to be all the many shades in our rainbow of diversity.
